Bamboo Stick Dance at UGM 2009

Welcome to the International Idu Cultural Festival of 2009.
Mr. Lun Sambo had been lead CSI team to joint performance at UGM on October 13, 2009. To show one of our famous traditional Cambodian dance, that was going to be on show that night, called Robam Kuos Angrae, another word is Bamboo Stick Dance.

Robam Kuos Angrae (Bamboo Stick Dance) was a typical Cambodian dance and the meaning of this dance it was about the time of season after farmers had harvested their crops in the night under the soft shining moon and with it they took with them Angrae (bamboo stick)  it was an equipment to show the beautiful view of Cambodian's land which was full of it's richness with it, it's also full of big and small handcrafts within the hands of corporations of Cambodian famers.
These were some dancers who will be performing as part of our background and each individual person represent: the carpenter, the sugar palm maker, the lady who was weaving silk, the rice grinders, the ladies who were raising the rice and last but not least the statue maker. All of these works were being done during the harvest season and that was when all the farmers were working together in hands to get it all ready for the next day.
