LOGO SELECTION FOR CSAI

នៅថ្ងៃទី០២ខែធ្នូរឆ្នា២០១២​យើងបានទទួលLogosដែលរចនានិងបង្កើតពីសំណាក់ប្រភពផ្សេងៗដើម្បីជ្រើស​រើសសំរាប់ប្រើជាផ្លូវការតំណាងសមាគមន៏និស្សិតកម្ពុជានៅប្រទេសឥណ្ឌូនេស៊ី Cambodian Students Association in Indonesia (CSAI)។

សូមបញ្ជាក់សារជាថ្មីថានេះជាការជ្រើសរើសដោយផ្អែកលើគំនិតវិភាគទាំងអត្ថន័យនិងសោភណ័ភាពដើម្បីទទួល​បានLogoមួយដែលមានលក្ខណៈប្រសើរបំផុត។ ដោយនេះមិនមែនជាការប្រកួតប្រជែងនោះទេតែ​យើង​​ពិបាក​នឹងការ​ជ្រើស​រើសព្រោះវាមានលក្ខណៈល្អដូចគ្នានិងដោយឡែក​។​ដូចនេះយើងសូមទាមទារការ​ជ្រើសរើសពីសំណាក់អ្នកទាំង​អស់​គ្នា។ ទោះបីល្អយ៉ាងណាក៏ដោយក៏គ្មានអ្វីឥតច្ចោះនោះដែរ ដូចនេះ​សូមធ្វើការជ្រើសរើសនិងទទួលយកមួយក្នុង​ចំណោ​មLogoទាំង៤នេះដោយការ​ពិចារណាត្រិះរិះរៀងៗខ្លួន។ 

ការជ្រើសរើសនឹងត្រូវបិទបញ្ចប់នៅថ្ងៃទី ៨ ខែធ្នូរ ឆ្នាំ២០១២ វេលាម៉ោង ១២យប់។ Logo ណាមួយដែលបាន​ការ​ជ្រើស​រើស​ច្រើនជាងចាប់ពី១ទៅ ដាច់ខាតត្រូវយកជាផ្លូវការសំរាប់ CSAI. សូមអរគុណ

Cambodian Students in Indonesia (CSI)

Cambodian Student in Indonesia (hereafter CSI) was created under the idea of unity, sharing and helping from the former generation of Cambodian student in Indonesia and it was requested and mandated by Cambodian Embassy in Indonesia arming to gather the information of all Cambodian students studying in Indonesia. And it helps to strengthen the unity, cooperation and maintaining friendship of all CSI members not only during the study in Indonesia but also after finished and being alumni as well as in working life. We share information we keep contact and we help each other without discrimination on grounds of race, skin color, gender, languages, religion, political affiliations of parents, place of birth and social status. We mainstream our Khmer culture and tradition to the world throughout the participation in any cultural activities as well as our self. Not only try to receive the certificate of study but we must seek to achieve the four pillars of education which are :
1). Learn to live together 
2). Learn to work together 
3). Learn to be good manor and
4). Learn to develop our country together. 
We must live with virtual and respect toward the culture, custom, law and regulation of the host country. We are the sub-ambassador to establish the bridge between our home university and host university as well as national level. We use utmost try to accomplish the productive scholarship and reach to the objectives of the study program as well as our own goal. The knowledge and experiences gaining from the studying in Indonesia will enable us to be potential and productive human resource for involving the pushing up our country development. We should do even little for our nation.

Our Mission: 
Cambodian students come to Indonesia not o­nly for education but also for cultural exchange with Indonesian and other foreign students. Therefore,those who came early agreed and successfully established the Cambodian Student in Indonesia (hereafter CSI) in the main purposes of:

1. Gathering all Cambodian Students in Indonesia to be unity, friendship and networking not only current students but especially alumni. 

2. Promoting cultural and informative exchange with Indonesian and other foreign students.

3. Setting up friendly relations between Cambodian students, Indonesian and foreign students.

4. Providing useful information to all Cambodian students staying in different areas in Indonesia through its bulletin which is published twice a year.

5. Helping any Cambodian students who is in trouble or needs assistance. 

6. Kindly provide all information, sharing knowledge and lesson learn effectively through the friendship and cooperative meeting face to face as well as space meeting via CSI Website and Group in Google/Facebook.

Code of Conducts:
1. Members are those who is 
   - Students/staffs with nationality Khmer
   - All genders, ethnicities and all religions 
   - Currently studying/working in Indonesia
   - Alumni student from all area of Indonesia
  
3. All members are given full authority and rights to post comments no matter it is positive or negative or personality but politic is strictly forbidden here.  

4. Term of politic to be forbidden here would refers to the followings: 
    (1). Crucial critical to any party (ies) for their performance for their respective party's interest, 
    (2). Attack personals of any individual party for causing the damage of their profile/ credit, but aiming at promoting their party's interest, 
    (3). Provoke a political party conflict or discrimination, but playing for their own benefits, 
    (4). Create harm of other parties by all means for their own interests; and 
    (5). General superficial debate on the politic in the case that related to the policy formation which could affect the public.

Cambodia Students in Indonesia (CSI) Activity Report

Friendship Dinner and Cooperation Meeting with Cambodian Students in Bandung:
This activity was organized in the evening of November 23, 2012 in Bandung City of Republic of Indonesia, titled “Friendship dinner and cooperative meeting for CSI Awareness”, participated by 20 participants in which two CSI members from Yogyakarta and another form Bandung. The meeting was conducted by Mr. Chhuon Kong, President of CSI and it was facilitated by Mr. Sok Bunsen, Mr. SENG Vannly, Mr. Sethirom Houn Serey and Mr. MUT Somouen.

We have gathered at 5PM in HLD Restaurant then welcomed to each other and opened the meeting by president of CSI. We enjoyed the foods after photo session. After finished having meals we started self introduction from all participants for getting to know our friends’ background and brief life story. The discussing meeting highlighted the CSI history, objectives and future plan which addressed by president of CSI. There are experiences and challenges on CSI and participation due to the lack awareness and lost contact. For the solution CSI required full unity, cooperation, charity and good coordination among student without conceitedness and discrimination. Getting full participation for sharing and exchanging information and data are the needs for CSI awareness and enforcement.
Output of Activity:
1.      All participant understood and interested on CSI and its objectives and getting to know each others.
2.      All participants shared knowledge, experience and challenges on preparing to join any activities as well as International Day.
3.      After discussion we decided promoted as follow:
-          Mr. MUT Somouen is the Vice-President of CSI in Bandung work generally as the leader and representative of all Cambodian Students in Bandung. Work closely with the President of CSI to help keep flowing news to all CSI members. Directing all related activities to be held in Bandung. 
-        Mr. Sethirom Houn Serey is the Secretary of Vice-President of CSI in Bandung work as the leader and the representative of Cambodian Students within the program of Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Open Learning Center (SEAMOLEC) and assist the technical work of Vice-president of CSI in Bandung.
-         Ms MAO Sina is the accountant of CSI in Bandung, work accountably to keep and collect the monthly saving money of CSI members in Bandung.
4.    CSI members in Bandung decided to have monthly saving money with 5000rp/person/month and all CSI member in Bandug must be gathered and have at least one steering committee meeting per month at convenient time that can be attached with friendship and cooperative meal. This meeting is armed to strengthening the friendship and unity and take time to collect the monthly saving money.
5.   CSI will have own official Website that will be created and hosted soon by the group of the CSI members studying Technology Digital Media in Institute Technology of Bandung (ITB) under the program SEAMOLEC. This group will be directed by Mr. Sethirom Houn Serey.
6.  All participants have committed to help expanding, strengthening, and developing CSI at its activities to be more helpful and more active through sharing and keep updating news and information in CSI group.
7.    We try to gather and invite the Cambodian alumni student from Indonesia to join in our group the will be pin up in our Website. CSI member who already finish studying in Indonesia should inform to the President of CSI before leaving from Indonesia. The new comers are also strongly required.

The meeting was conducted successfully. Finally, it finished with the significant and very good results at 8pm that was closed by president of CSI. This meeting gave us significance to create more friendship, involvement, cooperation and unity of all participants.

UNY Global Cultural Day 2012


Dear all Cambodian Students in Indonesia,

We will join the Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta Global (UNY) Cultural Day on 21 November 2012. We already decide to cook two kinds of Khmer dessert 1). Chek Ktih and 2). Bai Domneub Sangkya to be shown and sold in this occassion. See the picture bellow. This consider as the information and invitation to all Cambodian Students in Indonesia.
